36th Annual Southern Watercolor Society Exhibit

Location: Gadsden Arts Center
Reception: 2/8/20136-8p.m.

My painting, "Looking Back" will be exhibited along with 79 other paintings by artists from 16 southern states.  80 paintings were chosen out of over 400 entries.

"Women Work"

Location: Weber Gallery
Reception: 1/18/20135:30 p.m. - 9 p.m.

8- 10 of my Kentucky inspired city and landscape paintings will be on exhibit along with works from 9 other women artists in various mediums.   Mediums include ceramic, pastels, sculpture, fiber, pen and ink, oil, photography, watercolor, and wood.  Weber Gallery's mission is to support the developmentally disabled and includes disabled artist's works along side regional artists.  All works are for sale and help support the Council on Developmental Disabilities.  This particular exhibit is sponsored by The Kentucky Foundation for Women. 

Mazin Annual Art Exhibition 2012

Location: Jewish Community Center

Located in the Jewish Community Center Patio Gallery.  My painting, "The Meeting Place" is on exhibit along with 20 other entries in various mediums.

Middletown Library Exhibit

Location: East Government Center

At the Middletown Library, every three months Kentucky Watercolor Society paintings are taken down and replacements put up, keeping the exhibit fresh.  I currently have two paintings on display.  If you would like to see my work (and other artist's, too) please visit the library and pick up a book while you are there!  Our next date to exchange paintings will be Wednesday, March 6th.  Look for a brand new bunch of paintings then.

AquaVenture 2012

Annual water-based media (watercolor, acrylic, gouache, casein) exhibition.  Juried by Aaron Lubrick, Kentucky School of Art.  All artwork is for sale.

Aqueous USA 2012

Location: Actor's Theatre
Reception: 10/5/20125:30pm

Each year over 200 entries are received for this national show by the Kentucky Watercolor Society.  70 entries will be selected by artist/juror Ted Nuttal of Arizona.    Most paintings are from artists from all over the United States.   Many will be for sale.  This is a great opportunity to view outstanding works in watercolor by nationally and internationally recognized artists.

We Paint....The Springs!

Ivy Tech and Bloomington Watercolor Society have collaborated to bring together a weekend of watercolor painting fun in French Lick, Indiana.  Reception on Friday.  Beginners class (with supplies included) and Intermediate to Advanced Workshops on Saturday.  Plein Air Paint Out on Sunday!  All at historic French Lick Resort.  Click here for a brochure for details!
