It’s strawberry season in Kentucky and I couldn’t resist painting a few. In this painting, I used frisket to cover the seeds before I began painting. I painted the body of the strawberries in one step, fusing colors from yellowish to dark crimson red. The leaves and stems were next, then I removed the frisket and finished the seeds.
